We would like to inform you that as of October 1, 2024, the Student House is introducing a change
to the Regulations. From that moment on, each resident will be required to provide their own bed
linen (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase).Bedding dimensions:
• Sheet: 140×220 cm
• Duvet cover: 140×220 cm
• Pillowcase: 70×80 cmAt the same time, we would like to inform you that duvets and pillows will be included in the
equipment of the rooms.The Student House will no longer provide bed linen, so please prepare and purchase the necessary
items in advance to ensure a comfortable stay from the beginning of the new academic year.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

Frequently asked questions
1. What should I do with myself in the Dormitory?
Equipped with bedding and a refrigerator. The kitchens are fully equipped. Pots / pans adapted to induction, your own dishes and cutlery will be useful.
2. When is it possible to check in?
Accommodation begins on October 1 from 7.00 AM to 10.00 PM.
3. What do I need for accommodation?
Certainly a document confirming identity – ID card or passport.
4. When should I pay the deposit and how much?
The amount of the deposit is PLN 200.00 and should be paid to the bank account 70 1240 4142
1111 0010 3219 4112 in the title, entering “deposit for the academic year 2024/2025 name and
last name”.
5. When will I be able to pay for the Student Dormitory?
If you have a student ID, you have access to the USOS system. You should be there
log in systematically and wait for the payment to appear.
In October it will be around the middle of the month, in the first days of each subsequent month
month.
6. How can I choose a room?
In the Student Dormitory, rooms are allocated by the Administrator if you know who you would like to work with
live, write an e-mail with such information to gblotko@ath.bielsko.pl. As
the possibility of the request will be granted, but …. remember that the Dormitory is a lot of people and many
requests. Unfortunately, not always can be fulfilled, which does not mean that it will not be the beginning

7. Can I pay in cash at the Dormitory?
Unfortunately not, all payments are made to bank accounts – main or in the system
USOS.
8. What should I remember before arrival?
To read the Dormitory Regulations – MANDATORY – you must know your rights and
duties, and also, and maybe most of all, about taking with you a POSITIVE LOOKAHEAD

About dormitory
Student Dormitory is a comfortable mid-priced accomodation for every student.
The building is situated on Osiedle Kopernika near Hulanka. There is a parking lot, small grocery shops (Lewiatan, Euro) and supermarkets such as Biedronka or Tesco and pizzerias as well as an ATM situated near the building. There are also bus lines: 2, 4, 14, 15, 34 and a direct one towards UBB – 10.
Student Dormitory consist of 4 floors separated into 4 segments. There are single, double and triple rooms, which can fit 150 people in total. There is a laundry, TV room and Students hall (where you can use billard table, table football, board games and ping-pong table). On each floor there are 2 kitchens and 4 toilets. Dormitory is administrated by keepers and cleaners. There are also security guards looking after security of students. Room price already includes electricity, water and heating.
